Goldleaf Retirement Strategists

Your nest egg is built.
Let’s make sure it lasts.

If you’re 5–7 years from retirement, now’s the moment to shift from growing your savings to protecting them — making your money last, and having a plan for your family to care for you when the time comes.

Timing matters

You’re closer than you think.

The years right before retirement are when the biggest decisions get made — and the ones most people don’t realize they’re making. A little coordination now protects everything you’ve saved.

How we help

A coordinated set of retirement strategies

Not products — a plan. Four moving parts, working together so nothing falls through the cracks.

Retirement income strategies

Turn savings into a predictable paycheck that covers your essentials first — so the market’s ups and downs don’t dictate your lifestyle.

Tax mitigation strategies

Sequence withdrawals and structure income to keep more of what you’ve earned, year after year.

Healthcare & long-term care

Plan for the cost most retirees underestimate — before it becomes the thing that derails everything else.

Risk management strategies

Protect the plan from sequence-of-returns risk, inflation, and the surprises that show up after you stop working.

Meet Chris

What is a retirement strategist — and how is it different from my advisor?

It’s about specialization. Think of your advisor like your primary care doctor — essential to living well. A retirement strategist is more like a specialty physician.

The same goes for retirement planning: your advisor is focused on helping you save for retirement. I’m focused on retirement strategy — protecting your nest egg and shielding you from retirement income risk, so you can feel truly confident about retiring.

I’m not here to replace your advisor — I had one too, and she did a great job helping me reach my savings goals. I’m here for the next part: the shift from saving your money to living on it. That’s its own phase, with its own risks — and that’s my specialty.

Common questions

Straight answers

I already have a financial advisor — do I need you too?

That’s exactly who we work well alongside. Your advisor helped you accumulate — grow the portfolio, pick investments, manage risk along the way. Our role picks up where that leaves off: designing a retirement income strategy that will actually last, and protecting you from the risks that show up once you stop working, like sequence-of-returns risk, tax bracket creep, and rising healthcare costs.

What happens on the first call?

No pitch and no pressure — just a straight conversation about where you stand, what’s on your mind, and whether there’s a fit. About 15 minutes. You’ll leave with a clearer picture either way.

Next step

Let’s see where you stand.

No pitch. No pressure. Just a straight conversation about your numbers and an honest answer on whether your plan is ready.
